Q&A for Editorial Board Members
Dear editorial board members:
Our on-line medical forum has generated a great success and started to attract more and more attention. With the advent of technologies, our journal started to penetrate to 1.3 billion Chinese. Recently, we have received increasing numbers of e-mails asking various medical questions. Some of them are from China. Your inputs will definitely help desperate patients who are seeking your advice. Therefore, I would like to congratulate the editorial office, Jie Tang, Ph.D., Janet Gao, M.D., and Xiaohuia Chen, M.D., Ph.D. A special thanks to Hao Yue, M.D., Howard Liu, M.D. for their wonderful articles.
So far the Editorial Board members have been very supportive and the responses are very positive. I truly believe the journal will be flourished. To make our journal better, I would like to make the following comments and to answer some frequently asked questions by our board members.
How many articles do I have to write annually? And when?
Each of us will have to write at least one article in the next 12 months. You are welcome to submit more than one. Please let me know when you can do your article, otherwise, we have to sign up for you. We appreciate if you can submit your article at your earliest convenience, so the editorial office will have enough time to prepare for it.
What is the format?
We would suggest 5-10 pages per article. You can choice the topic you like. We encourage you to use subtitle as much as possible. The subtitle will appear on the cover and hyperlink to the text.
Does the journal have its own e-mail address and whom should I submit my article to?
The journal has its own e-mail address, which is ACMAdoc@hotmail.com. You should submit your article to this address and cc to:

Can I get help to translate my article into Chinese?
Yes, Jie Tang is in charge of translation, if you need help, please inform him at jie.tang@usa.net. We encourage you reviewing the translated version before your article is officially posted to the web site for accuracy.
How do I communicate with my audience?
The journal has its own e-mail address (ACMADOC@hotmail.com), which will be posted on the cover of each issue, so that your audience can contact us.
Please ask the editorial office for the passwords so you can check e-mail periodically. Please don't delete any e-mail unless you are personnel of the editor office.
Who is running the day-to-day operation for the journal?
Dr. Janet Gao (Associate Editor) will be in charge for the day-to-day operation. Her duties include asking you to submit the article.
Can I publish my article somewhere else?
Yes, you can. If we feel your article is good and interesting, we will use our connections and help you to publish in Chinese journal, such as People's Daily oversea version, Health Daily, and World Journal.
